It’s Thursday, mom’s morning out, and I’m spending it at one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlotte. I don’t know if it is the aroma of the blends or the accent of the person speaking (rather loudly, I’m afraid) at the table next to me, but I’ve been bit by the international bug something fierce today. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to be living in this country, but there is a great big world out there beyond the Kardashians and Kraft mac-n-cheese, and when I’m in the States too long, I start fiening for culture. The walls of familiarity start closing in and I swear if I pass one more Dunkin’ Donuts, I think I just might break down in tears.

Today, I’m thinking of Brighton, England in particular. I’ve spent the better part of the morning taking a photo journey of some of my favorite spots in Brighton. Care to join me?

The Food!!!

Good heavens the food.

Who would have thought brunch could be such a work of art. If we’re ever in Brighton together, breakfast at Bill’s is my treat.

The pace…

And of course the company….
