Baby Banner Bunting

It is getting down to the wire for Ginny’s baby shower tomorrow, so I’m putting the finishing touches on some of the decorations. What better to go with my “Baby Love Bouquet” than baby banner bunting?!
{Like my scratched up wood floors? Our house is 100 years old and I’m pretty sure this is the original flooring. Gotta love rentals!}
I’ve always loved banner bunting {flag banners}. I think they’re so festive and perfect for showers, parties, nurseries, and play rooms. So I made one for little Charlotte out of colored card stock, some decorative gift wrap, and paper glue. I’ve become pretty partial to my new Claudia Jean font, so I enlarged it to create a stencil for the name banner.
I found this bunting banner tutorial to make one out of fabric, but until Ginny is decided on her nursery theme and colors, card stock will have to do. In my attempts to make my own stencils this week, I stumbled across the video tutorial by DIY Dish to create your own fabric stenciling using freezer paper. Check it out!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I can’t wait to tell you how the shower went. Wish me luck!
